Filter Finish Matte Powder Foundation

I wanted to wear the foundation for a month before writing my honest review. I want to start by saying that I used to wear the Fenty Powder Foundation in the shade 290 before it was discontinued. It was the only powder foundation that matched me PERFECTLY. As soon as I ran out of the stock I had, I searched all makeup brands looking for a powder foundation that would come close. I saw a review for the Skintific Powder Foundation on IG and knew I had to try it. I am obsessed with the finish and coverage of this foundation. It wears beautifully throughout the day and I get so many compliments. I wear the Beige 04 for reference. I will say, the undertone is a little more rosey for my liking, but for the price, I’m not complaining. I do wish they carried more shades and undertones including olive undertones. Although you can’t beat the price, I will say, this powder foundation only lasted me a month. My Fenty used to last me 4 months at least with the same amount of product. So if you think about it, the Skintific comes out to a little bit more than a high end product, but for now, I can get past that. I do highly recommend and I hope Skintific expands their shade range because it’s such a great formula.

I have the hardest time finding foundation that is both a TRUE warm tone and ACTUALLY for very fair complexion. Makeup companies seem to think that pale skin can only be cool or neutral tones, which is definitely not true.

Not only is this a great color match, it's great for mature skin. I do use a priming/setting spray under and over the application, but this is generally good to do with powder foundation anyway. Doing this, it not only helps blur pores but keeps the powder from settling into textured areas.

If you have any problems with separation toward the end of the day in any areas (I did at first, but fixed it through trial and error) just dust a super light layer of finely milled setting powder underneath your foundation application. Priming spray and powder undercoats may sound like a lot of effort, but it really is not. And it makes my highly textured skin look almost flawless.

The quality of this foundation is great. You get a large amount, which is a bonus because it doesn't require a lot of product to produce a natural looking coverage. I absolutely am thrilled that I found this product. I almost didn't want to leave a review because I don't want it to become so popular that they raise their price to match the other ridiculous priced products that are only half as good (lol).

I used to use Maybellines fit me powder which I still love but decided to try this product. Skintific covers beautifully and lasts longer than the Maybellines. It does give better coverage than the Fit Me powder. I bought three of these. The first one was a little too dark but it will be a perfect match after my vacation as I’ll be outside alot. The last one I got which was Skintific shade Vanilla was a perfect match. It’s very silky and goes on so smooth. And the price is just right. I’ve tried the Laura Geller baked powder and was very disappointed. It wasn’t cheap and it didn’t cover very well. This product is so much better! Better price, better coverage and lasts all day. It’s like using liquid foundation and powder all in one. I don’t spends long time doing my makeup in the morning. I take care of 4 grandkids and don’t have much time. I use a concealer, Skintific powder, blush, eyeliner and mascara. I’m extremely happy with this purchase! I bought another shade of Skintific for my daughter and she fell in love with it! Try it for yourself-you won’t regret it!
